Thereza Pedrosa Gallery

Ember in Winter | Bruno Pedrosa

Bruno Pedrosa, the Brazilian artist who has made Asolo his home, returns to the gallery with a new and intense creative season. After seven years of research devoted to form and volume — through terracotta sculptures and small wearable works — the artist now returns to the power and depth of color, a defining element of his artistic language. His new paintings, vibrant and richly textured, engage in dialogue with recent sculptural creations, forming a poetic narrative where gesture, body, and light meet in harmony. Born in Cedro, Brazil, in 1950, Bruno Pedrosa is a celebrated contemporary artist recognized for his mastery across multiple mediums — painting, sculpture, jewelry, Murano glass, and textiles. Over a career spanning more than five decades, he has built a reputation for his innovative exploration of color, form, and materiality, establishing himself as one of Brazil’s most significant artistic voices. In Ember in Winter | Bruno Pedrosa, we present his latest body of work, where painting, art jewelry, and terracotta sculpture converge in a dialogue of warmth, texture, and emotion.
