"Fin da giovanissimo, ho avuto l'opportunità di iniziare il mio apprendistato in una bottega orafa nella mia città natale, un'esperienza che ha profondamente influenzato il mio approccio all'artigianato, alla manualità e alla cura dei dettagli.
In seguito, ho intrapreso la carriera di musicista professionista, dedicandomi allo studio della filologia musicale, sia in termini di antiche prassi esecutive che di costruzione di strumenti musicali. Nelle botteghe dei liutai, ho riscoperto la stessa precisione e la stessa cura meticolosa che caratterizzano un'altra forma di artigianato senza tempo.
Con lo stesso spirito, ho rivolto la mia attenzione allo studio delle tecniche di bigiotteria d'epoca, concentrandomi in particolare sul pavé, una tecnica dimenticata. Già in uso dagli anni '30, ha ispirato le creazioni di Miriam Haskell, Frank Hess, Robert Clark, Stanley Hagler, Marc Mercy, Ian St. Gilear, nonché di maestri italiani come Giuliano Fratti e, soprattutto, Lyda Coppola.
Da questa continua ricerca tecnico-storica nasce la mia produzione di pezzi unici e irripetibili, in cui applico queste tecniche rinnovandole attraverso l'uso di materiali moderni ed esplorando nuove forme adatte all'estetica contemporanea. Il mio obiettivo è rivitalizzare un linguaggio tecnico e artistico radicato nel passato, infondendogli nuova vita nel contesto della gioielleria moderna.
Da questa visione è nato Revival Bijoux, un nome che racchiude la mia filosofia creativa: 'gioielli contemporanei dalle radici retrò', creazioni che armonizzano la memoria storica con l'identità moderna."
"From a very young age, I had the opportunity to begin my training in “a bottega” of a goldsmith in my hometown, an experience that profoundly shaped my approach to craftsmanship, manual skill, and attention to detail.
I later pursued a career as a professional musician, dedicating myself to the study of musical philology, both in terms of ancient performance practices and the construction of musical instruments. In the workshops of luthiers, I rediscovered the same precision and meticulous care that characterize another timeless form of craftsmanship. With this same spirit, I turned my focus to the study of vintage costume jewelry techniques, paying particular attention to pavé embroidery, a technique forgotten. Already in use since the 1930s, it shaped the designs of Miriam Haskell, Frank Hess, Robert Clark, Stanley Hagler, Marc Mercy, Ian St. Gilear, as well as Italian masters such as Giuliano Fratti and, above all, Lyda Coppola.
From this ongoing technical and historical research arises my production of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, where I apply these techniques while renewing them through the use of modern materials and by exploring new forms suited to contemporary aesthetics. My aim is to revitalize a technical and artistic language rooted in the past, breathing new life into it within the context of modern jewelry.
This vision gave birth to Revival Bijoux, a name that encapsulates my creative philosophy: 'contemporary jewellery with retrò roots', creations that harmonize historical memory with modern identity."
